Gastly is pretty easy and quick to make.

what do you need:

– a 4mm hook

– a tapestry needle

-red and white yarn

on with the pattern!

the body:

Rd 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6)

Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around (12)

Rd 3: sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc around (18)

Rd 4: sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (24)

Rd 5: sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (30)

Rd 6-10: sc around (30)

Rnd 11: sc in next 3 sc, dec over next 2 sc around (24)

Rnd 12: sc in next 2 sc, dec over next 2 sc around (18)

Begin stuffing at this point, continue stuffing as you progress.

Rnd 13: sc in next sc,  dec over next 2 sc around  (12)

Rnd 14: dec in next 2 sc around (6)

F/O leaving a long tail. Add any stuffing needed to finish out the shape, weave the tail through the last round and pull to close. Weave in ends.

Purple cloud:

Rd 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6)

Rd 2: 2 sc in each sc around (12)

Rd 3: sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc around (18)

Rd 4: sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (24)

Rd 5: sc in next 3 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (30)

Rd 6: sc in next 4 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (36)

Rd 7: sc in next 5 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (42)

Rd 8-12: sc around (42)

Rd 13: 2 dc in each sc around (84)

Rd 14: make little waves: sc, hdc, dc, tc, dc, hdc, sc around (84)

Rd 15: make the waves bigger by randomly changing between 2 dc or 2 sc per crochet.

sew the purple cloud on the body with a lot of waves and curls (look to the pictures to see how i did it).

cut out of felt the face: a smiling grin, 2 teeth and 2 eyes. i drew the pupils on the eyes with a permanent marker.

have fun!
