F/O, leaving tail. Stuff lightly. Sew with darker pink a line across the middle. Attach the tongue to the pearl.

SHIELD (purple): make 2

Do not chain 1 when turning. Be sure to work first stitches in the very last sc made in previous row. This is help to create a much smoother and more filled in edge to the shields.

Row 1: ch 21, sc in 2nd ch from hook (20)

Row 2-15: Hsc in each sc (20)

F/O leaving long tail. Sew 2 ‘ridges” in the shield by sewing 2 adjacent rows together. Sew the shields onto the top and bottom of the pearl that is open up front where the face will come, and overlaps on the back. Create a tail from the overlapping part by fumbling it up. You can do this by weaving the yarn through the tail and pulling it tight, so that the rows become wavy.

SPIKES (purle): make 4

Rnd 1: 6 sc in Magic Ring (6)

Rnd 2: sc in each sc arount (6)

Rnd 3: sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc around (9)

Rnd 4-5: sc in each sc arount (9)

Rnd 6: sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc around (12)

Rnd 7-8: Sc in each sc around (12)

F/O leaving a tail to sew the spikes onto the shield.

FINAL ASSEMBLY:

Sew the shield onto the pearl and the spikes onto the shields as shown in the pictures. Sew the tongue to the pearl. Cut tow small circles from white felt and draw a little pupil with a permanent marker (see picures for better reference of size and shape)
