Final assembly

  • With all parts made, start sewing them together.
  • I always start with sorting all parts out and filling them. In this case, fill the body, the arms (lightly), the legs (lightly), the curl (lightly), tail (lightly) and ears (lightly).
  • Sew the ears to the top of the body
  • Sew the legs to the bottom of the body starting around round 21.
  • Sew the arms to the body between rows 16 and 22 so that they point to the face.
  • Roll up the tube for the tail and sew it to the back of the body. Try to position it so that cleffa can stand upright.
  • Roll up the rube for the curl and position it on top of the head, between the ears. First sew the roll itself shut and sew it then to the body. It can be quit hard to position it right, so keep trying different ways of folding it and sew it down tightly.
  • Cut the eyes out of black and white felt and glue them to the body, between rows 9 and 12. Cut out two cheeks and a mouth, place them between rounds 12 – 13.

Congratulations! Your Cleffa is finished!

#107 Hitmonchan

Hi Guys!

Only 2 more to share after this one! It’s a real countdown.

So this week i have a Hitmonchan for you. It took me a while to find the right color for his purple ‘dress’. He’s not quite able to stand up on his own because i made his legs stand up in a strange angle. I again used the same technique to make hypno’s fingers to make hitmonchan’s head.

Let me know what you think about my color choises 😉

#135 Jolteon

Hi Folks!

Wow what a week!

Last month I quit my job in order to take my career on another path and so last week was my last week i needed to work for my previous employee. This week I’m on vacation in the Provance in France. Me and some friends are renting a house (which looks more like a castle) for a week to enjoy the sun and relax a bit. So it was a very stressful and busy week, with all the packing and preparing for this week vacation included.

I still found some time to make another pokémon though: This week i have the last eeveelution for you: the lightning pokémon Jolteon!

His head i maybe a bit large and round but I think that makes him extra cute!

So, let me know what you think about him while I enjoy my glass of white wine!

See you next week!

For the last pokemon of this year we have Gloom! it is the 50the pokemon I made 😀 Since gloom isn’t that cute i wanted to make another cute version of him as well! So now it is your turn to decide which one you like the most: the cute little gloom or the real drooling one!

The last month was super busy. I think i made like 5 magikarp hats and a lot of other pokemon for etsy orders. On top of that was school very stressy with a large project that had to be finished last week. But I finally made and shipped all orders and send in my paper 🙂

happy christmas and new year to everyone!

Here he is! super cute and cuddly and all that! I had real trouble making him and started over like 3 times. but once I was on the right path it was quite easy. Incredible how much wool it took to make the tails! But I’m so super pleased with the result and hope you like him just as much as I do 🙂

Before you start asking: No, I don’t have a pattern to make him and I’m also not planning to make one as I want to sell him on etsy (https://www.etsy.com/shop/Pokemonchallenge)

A very simple, but hard to figure out pokemon! I wanted to make him for a very long time, but couldn’t figure out how to do it!

I’m also super busy making magikarp hats (i think i sold 5 so far! :o) so there is little time to make other pokemon, but i have a very nice surprise as the next one 😀
