#107 Hitmonchan

Hi Guys!

Only 2 more to share after this one! It’s a real countdown.

So this week i have a Hitmonchan for you. It took me a while to find the right color for his purple ‘dress’. He’s not quite able to stand up on his own because i made his legs stand up in a strange angle. I again used the same technique to make hypno’s fingers to make hitmonchan’s head.

Let me know what you think about my color choises 😉

#068 Machamp

Hi Guys!

This week i have Machamp to share with you! I really like how he turned out! Halfway through i ran out of blue/grey yarn, so i had to order some new online, which took much longer to arrive than i anticipated. I made the fingers using the same technique as i used for Hypno (you can find a link to a tutorial there).

Have you been paying close attention? Do you know which 3 pokémon i still need to make?

#085 Dodrio

Hi Guys!

Happy Easter Monday!

You know what? After Dodrio there are only 5 pokémon left!

i wasn’t able to make the legs of Dodrio strong enough to make him stand up, so i had to photography him sitting. I hope you like him, sitting or not!

Final assembly

 img_0312

With all parts made, start sewing them together.

  • Sew the opening of the body firmly shut.
  • Sew the opening of the feet shut by sewing the two sides of the opening together (make them flat). Sew them to the bottom of the body.
  • Sew the arms to the body. You can make them lean forward by sewing the back of the arms in the last crocheted row and the front of the arms in the row above that (7th rnd). That way the arms lean forward to the front of the body instead of pointing straight.
  • Flatten the ears and sew them on top of the body
  • Don’t fill the curl to firmly, that way you can curl it better. Take the tip and fold it back to more or less halfway the curl. Sew the tip in place there. Position the curl on the head and sew it on.
  • Sew the microphone to one of the arms

  • Cut out of felt: 2 black triangles for the ears (round the corners). 2 big white circles, 2 medium blue circles and 2 small white circles for the eyes.
  • Sew with black thread a smile on the body

For the placement of the parts and the shapes of the eyes: look at the reference pictures.

Your Jigglypuff is now finished!

#135 Jolteon

Hi Folks!

Wow what a week!

Last month I quit my job in order to take my career on another path and so last week was my last week i needed to work for my previous employee. This week I’m on vacation in the Provance in France. Me and some friends are renting a house (which looks more like a castle) for a week to enjoy the sun and relax a bit. So it was a very stressful and busy week, with all the packing and preparing for this week vacation included.

I still found some time to make another pokémon though: This week i have the last eeveelution for you: the lightning pokémon Jolteon!

His head i maybe a bit large and round but I think that makes him extra cute!

So, let me know what you think about him while I enjoy my glass of white wine!

See you next week!

#106 Hitmonlee

Hi Guys!

This week I have a Fight pokémon for you!

I know the colors are a bit off, but I didn’t find the exact color I wanted for him. Other than that I really like his shape and eyes.

The To Do list is getting shorter and shorter but the pokémon still on it are also getting harder to make. So thumbs up if you want me to complete the complete generation this summer!
