Free Poliwhirl Pattern – part 2

Hi All!

Wow, my blog has gotten a lot of traffic in the last few days! I don’t know if it’s related to the release of Pokemon GO or just because some people started to share my posts.

In any case: i never expected that i would have to send this pattern to dozens of people a day, so i decided to just post it here for everyone!

I still kindly ask to subscribe to my blog and share this post on any social media you are on if you are using this pattern. And further i only want to say: enjoy making poliwhirl!

#141 Kabutops

Hi All!

I’ve been very sick last week, so I  wasn’t able to show you a new pokemon. Now I’m feeling better, so here’s one for this week!

I’ve made another fossil pokémon: Kabutops!

I like this head-shape and scythes and the way he looks.

Did you know that kabutops is a rock and water type? I just find out and find this very cool!

Do you already have Pokémon Go? Or are you planning to get it? In Belgium it’s not yet available and i can’t wait to install it and start catching pokémon! (maybe even a Kabutops!)

#066 Machop

Hi there!

I know it’s a day late but I still have a weekly pokémon for you!

I’ve made Machop a long time ago, but i’m not quit happy about him, so I didn’t really wanted to post him. It was very hard to make his body and arms into the right shape.

Suggestions for how to improve him are always welcome!

#087 Dewgong

Hi there!

I’m busy making a lot of new pokémon, so busy in fact i forgot to post one last week!

For Dewgong I re-used parts of my Seel pattern and I’m very happy about him.

i’m trying to finish a new pokémon every week so I’ll finish in the summer! Can’t wait to finish the complete first generation!

#106 Hitmonlee

Hi Guys!

This week I have a Fight pokémon for you!

I know the colors are a bit off, but I didn’t find the exact color I wanted for him. Other than that I really like his shape and eyes.

The To Do list is getting shorter and shorter but the pokémon still on it are also getting harder to make. So thumbs up if you want me to complete the complete generation this summer!

#127 Pinsir

Hi there,

Another week, another pokémon! And it’s time for a bug type: Pinsir.

I had so much fun making him and I’m really happy with how he turned out. I think the little details just make it: the little pins on the horns and the toenails are such small things that bring it all together.

IMG_1644Currently I’m working on Scyther but I have so much orders or custom requests that it’s taking me already more then 3 weeks to finish him. This week i made 2 raichu’s and a small charmander with a custom pokéball.

#136 Flareon

Hi There,

This week I have one of my cutest pokémon yet for you: Flareon! It’s another eeveelution and i really liked to make her! The flames are all felted and I combined white and yellow felt to create a more dynamic color and more a more flame-like texture.

I really want to know what you think about her!

IMG_1624

After that i also made the sisters Anna and Elsa from Disney’s Frozen for my cousin 🙂

#021 Spearow

Hi there!

I hope you all had a very nice week, I know I did! It has become a habit to end my week by writing a post about a new pokémon, so I hope you have the habit of reading my blogs at the end of each week.

This week I have one of the lower number pokémon for you: Spearow. It’s another bird pokémon but i’m getting the hang of them. I only had a though time figuring out how to make the head-feathers. In the end I simply made a base and then just made a dozen ‘feathers’ and sew them all on there. I think this really gives the texture I wanted so i’m quite pleased with him.

IMG_1601

Last week I also made a new collage with all pokémon i’ve made so far! It’s getting quit impressive: I’ve made 129 so far, so only 22 to go! Can you spot all 9 new pokémon hidden in here?

#096 Drowzee

Hi guys!

The To Do list is becoming shorter and shorter but there are still quite some Psychic pokémon on there! This week I made Drowzee for you! I had some trouble figuring out how to do it’s proboscis (first time ever i’m using that word, is it a correct translation?) but I felt good about it in the end.

Since I left most of the difficult pokémon to the end I’m now struggling with almost every pokémon and it’s taking much longer to make them then a year back for instance. But it’s nice to see my whole collection standing up on the shelf and it keeps me motivated to keep going!

#053 Persian

Hi there!

You won’t believe how busy I’ve been with work the last weeks! On top of that I also had several orders to finish up (like a weezing plush measuring 21 inches!), so you can imagine I didn’t have much time to make new pokémon.

I have to admit that I’m not that happy with Persian. It was very difficult to create an elegant and accurate cat-like figure. I think I restarted 3 times before i gave up and just went with what I got. I’m not very happy with his overall body shape and head, but i just couldn’t get it right.

But maybe it’s because I’m looking very closely at every detail. What do you think about him?
